Transitioning from a tiered upper faux turf play area surrounding the pool to a natural shaded lawn below, the client’s roots in California inspired a softer heat tolerant planting palette. On the upper garden we used lavender, blue fescue and hydrangeas. Off to the right side is a custom arbor and hidden kitchen garden. Stepping onto the natural lawn are perennial border beds with boxwoods, anemones, and salvia. This project includes a beautiful landscape lighting design and complete with container designs adjacent to entry points. The pool, veranda, and terraced landscape provide casual and inviting options.
