Greenway Terrace
Set on a bucolic double lot near the Myers Park greenway, the site presented an immediate challenge: sitting within a floodplain. In response, we constructed a raised bluestone patio garden to achieve a view, with outdoor gathering spaces that include a Pergolux pergola. The faux turf pad allows for easy care and play. We created a lush surround with skip laurel, arborvitae, and hornbeam trees to frame the view, along with crisp boxwood hedges. Perennials and herbs are peppered into the bed lines. The backdrop is a curated plant palette of wetland-friendly trees and plants, including sweetbay magnolia, switchgrass, clethra, and irises.
