Perennial Curb Appeal
Situated on a picturesque street in Charlotte, the goal for this property was to create a captivating perennial garden with instant curb appeal. Given the sunny site conditions, we carefully curated the plant palette to include native plants like smooth Arborescens hydrangeas, penstemon, and gaura, while peppering in Mediterranean plants like culinary rosemary, lamb's ear, and nepeta. While most perennial gardens go dormant, this one boasts a robust selection of perennials that stay nearly evergreen in USDA growing zone 7b, allowing for a rich tapestry of foliage all year round. The plant combinations are equally beautiful and rather low maintenance.
